Cool Mornings...

Today is the first day of October! I love it. Cool breezy mornings and sunny days.
The other morning my Mama stopped by and brought me a biscuit. It was before the sun came up. We sat on my front porch and watched the trees blow. We smiled and breathed in the cool air. We were still. She is beautiful, and the most generous person I know. It is mornings like these i cherish. It lasted about 5 minutes, then i went back inside, she went to work and i ate my biscuit and went back to sleep :). But it made a mark on my heart. It is those quiet still moments that we know we are loved, and that not only my mom is loving me, but Jesus is holding us both close in the palm of His hand. I thank God for his cool loving breeze that morning.

Now October...pass the apple cider and the Pumpkin...:)

Jonathan Anessa Samuel Leila and Alaina!

Jonathan works in AV for two local hotels and still Djs weddings and events.

Anessa Teaches fifth Grade

Samuel is in second grade, loves video games, soccer, basketball, and just about any fried food.

Leila is in First grade. She is a soccer star, and loves to climb just about anything she can. Mostly trees.

Alaina is four and loves dress up and anything that she can make-believe.

We love going to the beach with our parents and spending time at the lake as a family!

Mama

I found out that my mama has cancer in her spinal column. I am really confused right now, and worried. What do we do now? What are the steps we take? I am scared. All I can do is pray and ask God for patience and understanding. Everyone needs to hug their mothers a little bit longer today. She is so dear to me, and i have no idea what tomorrow will bring. My word for today is to be still...
